Refund Policy

1. Refunds

In accordance with clauses mentioned in Order Cancellation and Return Policy, TREND ON RENT ensures that refunds resulting from cancellations or returns will be processed within a specified timeframe. Key points include:

• Refund Timeline: Refunds (including Security Deposit, Rental Amount, Delivery Charge, and other charges) will be initiated within 15 to 45 days of cancellation/return. Delivery and COD Charges are refunded only if TREND ON RENT cancels the order or if the customer cancels 15 days before the package start date.
• Third Party Payment Gateways: Refunds are facilitated via third-party gateways that process the actual transactions.
• Liability and Responsibility: TREND ON RENT is not liable for delays caused by the payment gateways.
• Bank/Payment Gateway Policies: Refund time may vary by bank/payment gateway policies.

2. Order Cancellation

i. Cancellation by TREND ON RENT

TREND ON RENT reserves the right to cancel orders due to:

• Product unavailability
• Limited quantity already ordered by another user
• Payment issues
• Incorrect shipping address
• Unsupported or inaccessible delivery location
• Product defects or errors
• Customer malpractice or abuse
• Need for additional verification before processing
• Order cancellations, in which case TREND ON RENT will contact you
• Requests for further details to process the order
• Refunds will be issued for cancelled orders within a reasonable timeframe

ii. Cancellation by User

Cancellation is only accepted if requested 15 days before scheduled delivery by emailing info@trendonrent.com. A 20% cancellation fee applies (subject to discretion). Cancellations for purchased products are not allowed.

3. In Case of Returns

i. Handover of the Product: Return the product to TREND ON RENT’s designated personnel, who will collect it from your address.

ii. Return of Products after Use:

• Return products in satisfactory condition by the Return Date.
• Late Fee: 50% of rental amount per day after Return Date.
• After 3 days, Late Fee becomes 100% of the product’s retail price plus applicable taxes.
• Late Fees apply even in cases of material damage.

Security Deposit may be adjusted against the Late Fee. If fees exceed the deposit, the remaining amount will be charged to your registered payment method. Otherwise, remaining deposit will be refunded.

iii. Return of Packing Material: All original packaging (jewellery boxes, bags, hangers, etc.) must be returned. Failure to do so will result in a ₹1000 fee, deducted from the Security Deposit or payable to the delivery person.

iv. Return of Products Without Use: You must inspect and try on the product before your event. If issues arise, contact customer care. Return approval is at TREND ON RENT’s discretion.

v. Conditions of Return for Products on Sale: No returns allowed for products bought on sale. All such orders are final and TREND ON RENT is not liable for damage upon return.
