1. Refunds

In accordance with clauses mentioned in Order Cancellation and Return Policy, TREND ON RENT ensures that refunds resulting from cancellations or returns will be processed within a specified timeframe. Here are the key points:

 

  1. Refund Timeline: Refunds, including those related to the Security Deposit, Rental Amount, Delivery Charge, and other charges, will be initiated within 15 to 45 days from the date of cancellation or return. The Delivery Charges and COD Charges refunds are initiated only when TREND ON RENT has cancelled the order or only when the customer cancels the order 15 days before the 1st day of the package.
  1. Third Party Payment Gateways: TREND ON RENT utilizes Third Party Payment Gateways to facilitate these refunds. These gateways handle the actual processing of funds.
  1. Liability and Responsibility: While TREND ON RENT takes reasonable steps to expedite refunds, any delay or failure in the refund process lies with the Third Party Payment Gateways. TREND ON RENT itself is not liable for such delays.
  1. Bank/Payment Gateway Policies: The specific refund processing time may vary based on the policies of the user’s bank and the payment gateway used.
2. Order Cancellation.

i. Cancellation by TREND ON RENT

TREND ON RENT maintains the authority to decline or cancel orders for various reasons, as outlined below:

 

  1. Product Availability: If a product is no longer available or is temporarily unavailable, TREND ON RENT may refuse the order.
  2. Limited Quantities: If the identified product has limited quantities available for renting and has already been ordered by another user, your order may be cancelled.
  3. Payment Issues: TREND ON RENT may identify problems related to payment for a displayed product, leading to order cancellation.
  4. Shipping Address Accuracy: Inaccurate or insufficient shipping address details provided by the user during order placement can result in cancellation.
  5. Delivery Location: If the requested delivery location is not serviced by TREND ON RENT or is otherwise inaccessible, the order may be declined.
  6. Product Defects or Errors: Inaccuracies, defects, or pricing errors in the identified product(s) can lead to order cancellation.
  7. Malpractice or Abuse: Any malpractice or abuse by the user during order placement or while using TREND ON RENT’s services may result in order cancellation.
  8. Additional Verification: TREND ON RENT reserves the right to request additional verification or information before accepting an order.
  9. Order Cancellation: If any part of your order is cancelled, TREND ON RENT will get in touch with you.
  10. Additional Information: If we require further details to process your order, we will contact you.
  11. Refunds: In case your order is cancelled by Trend on Rent after your credit card, debit card, or account has been charged, the rental amount or sale price (as applicable) will be reversed back to your card or account. The specific time frame for this reversal will be determined by TREND ON RENT and considered reasonable.

 

ii. Cancellation by USER

TREND ON RENT reserves the right to accept or reject requests for cancellation for any reason. Cancellation requests will be entertained only if they are received 15 days before the scheduled delivery date. To initiate a cancellation, users should email TREND ON RENT at info@trendonrent.com. All cancellations are subject to a 20% cancellation fee based on the rental amount. However, TREND ON RENT may adjust or waive this fee on a case-by-case basis at its absolute discretion.

When you place an order for any product, TREND ON RENT records the time of your order, and this timestamp is non-disputable. Users agree not to challenge TREND ON RENT’s decision regarding the applicable cancellation fee. It’s important to note that TREND ON RENT does not accept cancellations for orders placed to purchase products listed for sale on the site/app. Such orders are considered final and binding.

Additionally, TREND ON RENT holds no liability to users for citing reasons when cancelling any order. Please keep these guidelines in mind when interacting with TREND ON RENT’s cancellation policies.

 

3. Incase of Returns

i. Handover of the Product.

The product(s) should be returned to the designated person from TREND ON RENT. They will arrange for a pickup from your specified Shipping Address before the return date. Please ensure that the return process adheres to their guidelines. If you have any further questions or need clarification, feel free to ask.

ii. Return of Products after Use

You acknowledge and agree that it is your sole responsibility to return the products delivered to you by the specified Return Date. These products must be in satisfactory condition and comply with the terms outlined. In the event that you fail to return the product to TREND ON RENT before the return date expires, you authorize TREND ON RENT to charge a Late Fee equivalent to 50% of the rental amount for each product for each day beyond the return date. It’s essential to adhere to the return guidelines to avoid any additional charges.

 

  1. Rental Amount and Taxes: The specified amount is in addition to the rental amount and any applicable taxes. This means that the Late Fee is separate from the base rental cost and any tax charges.
  1. Late Fee Conditions: If the product(s) are not returned within 3 days from the Return Date, TREND ON RENT has the right to impose a Late Fee. The Late Fee is calculated as 100% of the retail price of the product, plus any applicable taxes.
  1. Additional Clarification: The Late Fee is independent of the Rental Fee for each product. It also applies to any additional payment due because of material damage caused to the product during use.

 

TREND ON RENT shall have the right to adjust the Security Deposit against the Late Fee payable by you in accordance with the terms. In the event the amount of Late Fee payable by you is higher than the Security Deposit, you hereby authorise TREND ON RENT to immediately charge the balance Late Fee, on the credit card/debit card of the user registered with the site/app. Further, in the event the Late Fee payable by you is an amount lower than the Security Deposit, TREND ON RENT shall refund the balance Security Deposit in accordance with these Terms. All the terms and conditions mentioned under the “Use of Product” clause are applicable here and for the sake of brevity are not re-written here. You are advised to refer to the same.

 

iii. Packing Material to be returned.

The fancy packaging of the products is for the purpose of enhancing your user experience and making the user feel luxurious. The user is required to package the product(s) in the original packing in which it was delivered to you and return all the packing provided to you by TREND ON RENT at the time of delivery of the product(s). Following are the returnable packaging products :-

a.TREND ON RENT Jewellery Boxes, Carry Bags and Hangers

b.Any other merchandise delivered with the product(s).

The TREND ON RENT packing material is not yours to keep. If the TREND ON RENT packing material is not returned then you will be charged a fee of Rs. 1000/- which shall be deducted from the Security Deposit and/or an equivalent amount shall be paid by the user to the delivery person who comes to pick-up the product(s).

 

iv. Return of Products without Use

TREND ON RENT maintains the discretion to approve or decline return requests, citing any valid reason. As a user, it is essential to meticulously inspect the delivered product(s) for factors such as size, colour, style, and potential damage. Additionally, we recommend trying on the product before the scheduled event date. Should any issues arise, promptly notify TREND ON RENT’s customer care team. The terms and conditions outlined in the “Use of Product” section remain applicable here, although we have summarized them for brevity. v. Conditions of Return for Products on Sale

TREND ON RENT has made it unequivocally clear that once a user places an order for a product listed on their site/app, the transaction becomes irrevocable. No requests for product returns will be entertained. The user is bound by this decision, and the orders are considered conclusive. Additionally, TREND ON RENT absolves itself of any responsibility or liability for any damage incurred when a user returns an order. This policy underscores the importance of careful consideration before making a purchase.
